   The ISBD is a major source for emerging research and clinical data on bipolar disorders and is the only bipolar focused, research-oriented Society working to bring this data to patients, families and other mental health professionals working on the front lines of bipolar care. The Society currently offers the Journal Bipolar Disorders An International Journal of Psychiatry and Neurosciences as part of membership, as well as discounts to the biennial ISBD meetings and the International Conference on Bipolar Disorder in Pittsburgh. The Society also seeks to support the education of young investigators and those in training through several awards, including the Samuel Gershon Award for Junior Investigators, the ISBD fellowship award, poster awards at our meetings, and supported membership awards.
